Rosemary Sturge was born in Lancashire and had always intended to write, but teaching took a great deal of energy and she didn’t get very far with it until, on retirement, she took an MA degree in Creative Writing at Middlesex University. As a result she finally managed to finish her novel, Death of a Daughter of Venice.
Rosemary’s favourite genre is historical mystery, both to read and to write. She has also written a number of short stories, some of which have won prizes, and one is included in Alfie Dog’s anthology Thrice Upon a Time.
