Peter Norris

PNJan17Peter was born in Berkhamsted in Hertfordshire but has travelled extensively since his early days there, having lived in Uganda, Northern Ireland, and the North West of England.

His two novels – A Quiet Night at Entebbe and Iron Snake (originally called “The Long Train”) are both set in East Africa. Both were shortlisted for the Crime Writers’ Association’s Debut Dagger.

AQNAE coverNeedless to say, Wilbur Smith and Joseph Conrad are among Peter’s favourite authors.

Peter also enjoys writing short stories. He is currently compiling a selection of these for publication.

He says, “If I could get anywhere near writing like Bernard Miles did in his country monologues of the 1950s and 60s, I would happily lay down my pen.”
